GEOS Language Academy Victoria is part of the GEOS family of language schools. Our school is a great place to study English, improve your proficiency test scores, gain work experience, and make new friends from around the world. We provide quality language courses in a friendly atmosphere here in Victoria. We offer super-intensive, intensive, and part time English as a Second Language(ESL). We also offer TOEFL, IELTS, and TOEIC Preparation Courses, Study-Work Internship Programs, study tours, and other courses. Our school is in the heart of downtown Victoria.
Victoria, one of Canada’s most beautiful mid-sized cities, is on the southern tip of Vancouver Island, on the west coast of Canada. Victoria is the capital city of the beautiful province of BC, and is conveniently located a quick 15-minute flight from Vancouver International Airport, or only a 40-minute flight from Seattle, WA.

GEOS Victoria is located in a heritage building in the heart of downtown Victoria, on the main street - Douglas Street. We are only a quick stroll away from Victoria's Old Town, where countless upscale restaurants, and fun pubs can be found. GEOS Victoria’s neighbors include the The Bay Centre, the Royal British Columbia Museum, and the famous Fairmont Empress Hotel. Five minutes away from the GEOS Victoria school is the Inner Harbour; one of Victoria’s main tourist attractions, the Inner Harbour is filled with street performers all year along with a great selection of restaurants, cafes, and shops. Tourists from all over the world watch jugglers and musicians perform.

GEOS Victoria organizes after-school activities (and occasionally organizes weekend activities) for our international students in Victoria. These activities vary by season. Some examples of these activities include trips to Buchart Gardens, coffee talk, sports games, city tours, and more!

We offer homestays, residences, and other accommodations for students.
The GEOS Homestay Program is intended to give visiting foreign students a first-hand experience of Canadian culture by sharing in everyday host family life. As well as being able to use practical English language skills they have learned in school, it is expected that students will be able participate in family activities for a holistic view of life in Victoria.
A GEOS staff member visits each of our host families with students’ interests in mind. All families have also had a police background check. Our aim is to provide our students with a secure, educational and vibrant environment. Our host families live in safe, comfortable neighborhoods close to the school.
Alternatively, we can also place students in a student residence close to the school. Please e-mail us for full details.

Homestay (Half-Board)- $185 CAD/week
Homestay (Full-Board)- $195 CAD/week
Residence - Starting from $90 CAD/week
